The Closet - Newport Beach
The Closet features a brand mix of what founder/owner Billy Stade calls “California couture” – contemporary sportswear and more exclusive designs from Surface to Air (France), G-Star (Amsterdam), Modern Amusement (Santa Monica), Trovata (Newport Beach) and Stussy (Irvine). The Closet appeals to customers who prefer his casual apparel that tends toward the “globalist modern fashion movement” -- attracting upscale, young shoppers who want something not found in everyday mall stores.
Locations: The Closet currently has three stores in Orange County – Huntington Beach (Main Street), Costa Mesa (Triangle Square) and now in Fashion Island. The company is going to expand existing stores in near future and will be adding new locations in 2005, and 2006. |
