Linda Eddy is an accomplished and passionate Real Estate executive whose experience as both a retailer and developer spans more than 25 years, and covers a broad range of retail venues including malls, lifestyle, Power/Strip and Outlet centers throughout the 50 States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Over the course of her successful career, she personally negotiated letters of intent and leases for hundreds of new retail stores – relocations – expansions – and “work-out” packages, delivering on-time results within the budget. Her leadership and decision making has provided top and bottom-line financial growth regardless of economic conditions.
As V.P. of Real Estate, her real estate acumen and experience in developing and implementing comprehensive expansion plans – strategic management of existing portfolios – fleet optimization – in-depth market analysis – managing other leasing executives – lease administration and construction/design. She has consistently improved shareholder value in both high growth/new markets and challenging environments, and has generated positive change for retail companies like Justice, PacSun, Limited Brands and others.
She brings with her a strong working network of national developers and major retailers across the country.
Linda is a native of Evanston, Illinois ( think Chicago Cubs) and has a BA in Journalism/Advertising from Southern Illinois University and a JD from Western State University.
The Eddy Company works on many levels with both retailers and developers. We serve as the real estate department for the retailer or developer who do not have a full-time real estate department.
For example, retailers and restaurants retain us to participate as a key member of their development team in tactical planning. We determine and recommend the best potential sites for expansion, provide market and occupancy cost analyses, and negotiate the lease on behalf of our clients. We may work with local brokers to gather additional demographic and market rental comparables.
For developers, we serve as the point retail consultant in determining market overview, competitive project analysis, leasing strategies, merchandise mix, and lease negotiations. Years of experience in a wide variety of retail-commercial properties provide the background to support planning, product designation, marketing, merchandising strategies and all facets of leasing.
In essence, The Eddy Company determines in partnership with our clients their needs and then structures our consulting agreement on that.
